Flat tyre emergency spray can.

Has anyone had experience using the emergency flat spray can stuff that you screw onto the valve? I see there are a few different brands.
Looking to carry one in the kit when I go touring, just hoping to have something good enough to get me into town if I get a nail or similar in a tyre.
