What works best for me is lead fishing weights hammered into the bar ends, gel gloves, and the plastic twist assist thing on the throttle end. Don't over tight the bar mounts as that will crush down the rubber bushings, transmitting more vibration.
I think the twist assist, while good for most things, can be dangerous .
A number of years ago I was outside the Triumph dealer and there was a low miles Truxton with some road damage. I asked and found out that the bike was a widow maker.
Seemed the guy (new rider and husband) was leaning in the corner the bike was getting too close to the center line. He cranked down on the bars to to lean more but as he did he put pressure on the twist assist and the bike responded. Panicked hit the brakes the bike ended up under a truck coming the other way.
Now there were some factor of inexperience, more powerful bike than he should have been on .
But sadly I can see myself getting into the same situation with a twist assist.
