      Temporary fuel tank

Hello Folks this one should be good for a laugh Smiley

I decided while my fuel tank was off for restoration and since I just did a carb overhaul ( twice...grrr ) it would be nice to have a temporary little fuel tank, I figured it would be good for other projects as well and nice to have.    I found a little plastic "50cc" size kit on amazon with filter and some hose for I think 14 bucks.   Received it, put it together,  zip tied it on, saw some gas in filter ok.
Started bike, would idle but not rev, wth ? Did I mess up another carb overhaul ?
Is my carb just junk ?  I start looking for carbs when it hits me, it needs more fuel.
Turns out the plastic inside the nipple was only the size of a large pinhole due to plastic flashing on the cheap tank, drilled it out.
Some fresh gas and perfect !
Sorry to get long winded but it works perfectly and I added an on/off valve from a lawnmower but my point is, try/sit back and think/ do the easy stuff first.  I almost spent 400 bucks for a new carb for nothing.
Although I do like what I heard about the 38mm vm so...LOL.
