We planned our route along the fun roadside attractions and most of them were the "big" things. A friend suggested we go by Casey IL, which has a lot of the "largest" things. World's largest mailbox...

....and the funnest was the World's Largest Ball of Paint in Alexandria, IN. You get to schedule an appointment (or drop in), paint a layer, sign the log book for Guinness documentation, and you get a signed certificate from the owners. Super cool people and this is all in a little garage adjacent to their house in rural IN in the middle of corn/soybean fields.
