Got a new bike!

Purchased a Yamaha V Star 950 so my wife and I can go for a cruise in comfort. I will keep the S40 for quick trips in the city traffic, and I might do a bobber conversion some day.

Yam is a good bike...I had 3 or 4 Vstar 650s in my day.  Very good looking bikes and maintenance is most reliable of all bikes per what I have read.

I have a 950 bolt, same motor and atleast 1/2 the frame as the 950 Vstar.
The funny thing, on the bolt they left out 1 bracket than holds the motor to the frame.
So a bike made entirely with different brackets than this one, and they omit a bracket.

IMHO, Yamaha is the worlds best bracket maker.

All their bikes are the same as other bikes with the exception of a bunch of brackets. LOL.

Bolt base model, R spec, C spec, SCR 950 (my bike before I converted to bolt) are all just a few brackets and other bigger "brackets" like seat hoop etc different from each other.

Cool.
Srinath.
