But,, its okay,, because
reasons

Excerpt

Dr. Alveda King remarked the error of Planned Parenthood’s abortion-on-demand corporate ideology:

The most obvious practitioner of racism in the United States today is Planned Parenthood, an organization founded by the eugenicist Margaret Sanger and recently documented as ready to accept money to eliminate black babies.

And now,, the article

We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. – Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, 1939

As the founder of America’s largest abortion chain, Margaret Sanger’s ideology for Planned Parenthood was cemented in eugenics, the belief and practice that aims to eliminate certain groups of people.

As a eugenicist, Sanger encouraged the sterilization of persons with less desirable qualities, and strongly encouraged the reproduction of groups with more desirable qualities. Sanger’s disdain for blacks, minority groups, and the diseased and disabled spawned the birth of an abortion corporation that profits off the killing of the weakest and most vulnerable. From its conception, Planned Parenthood was built upon the roots of exterminating individuals deemed “unfit” for the human family.

Today, the spirit of Sanger lives on. According to the Guttmacher Institute, the former pro-abortion research division of Planned Parenthood, African-American women are five times more likely to choose abortion over white women. Planned Parenthood clinics are strategically planted in minority communities, targeting blacks and impoverished minority groups, and abortion remains the leading cause of death for the black community.

Below is a compilation of seven shocking quotes from Sanger, a famed eugenicist who birthed America’s largest abortion-on-demand corporation.

1) “We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.”

In a letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble in December, 19, 1939, Sanger exposited her vision for the “Negro Project,” a freshly launched collaboration between the American Birth Control League and Sanger’s Birth Control Clinical Research Bureau. The letter echoes the eugenic ideologies still visible within the corporate vein of Planned Parenthood today.

It seems to me from my experience…that while the colored Negroes have great respect for white doctors they can get closer to their own members and more or less lay their cards on the table which means their ignorance, superstitions and doubts.

We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal.

CLICK LIKE IF YOU’RE PRO-LIFE!

We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.

2) “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan.”

In 1926, Sanger spoke at a Ku Klux Klan rally in 1926 in Silver Lake, New Jersey. Following the invitation, Sanger describes her elation after receiving multiple speaking requests from white supremacy groups. She writes of the experience on page 366 of her book, An Autobiography:

I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan … I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses … I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak … In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.

3) “They are…human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ’spawning… human beings who never should have been born.”

In “Pivot of Civilization,” Sanger penned her thoughts regarding immigrants, the poor, and the error of philanthropy. Sanger’s ideology of racial and social hygiene bleeds through her writings on breeding an ideal human race:

They are…human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ’spawning… human beings who never should have been born.

Organized charity itself is the symptom of a malignant social disease…Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the stocks [of people] that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world, it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant.

4) “Birth control is nothing more or less than…weeding out the unfit.”

Sanger famously coined the term “birth control” with the intention of eliminating the reproduction of human beings who were considered “less fit.” In her writings from “Morality and Birth Control” and “Birth Control and the New Race,” the Planned Parenthood founder noted that the chief aim of the practice of birth control is to produce a “cleaner race.” Sanger’s vision for birth control was to prevent the birth of individuals whom she believed were unfit for mankind:

Knowledge of birth control is essentially moral. Its general, though prudent, practice must lead to a higher individuality and ultimately to a cleaner race.

Birth control is nothing more or less than the facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit, of preventing the birth of defectives or of those who will become defective.

5) “Human beings who never should have been born at all.”

In “The Pivot of Civilization” and “A Plan for Peace,” Sanger describes the eugenic value of eliminating persons – minorities, the sick, and the disabled – through sterilization or segregation:

Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying … demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism … [Philanthropists] encourage the healthier and more normal sections of the world to shoulder the burden of unthinking and indiscriminate fecundity of others; which brings with it, as I think the reader must agree, a dead weight of human waste.

Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the stocks that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world, it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant … We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.

The main objects of the Population Congress would be to apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring[;] to give certain dysgenic groups in our population their choice of segregation or sterilization.

6) “I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world.”
In an 1957 interview with journalist Mike Wallace, Sanger advocated that the greatest evil is a family that chooses to bring children into the world. Sanger, who advocated for a system requiring every American family to submit a request to the government to have a child, told America Weekly in 1934 that it has “become necessary to establish a system of birth permits.”

I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world – that have disease from their parents, that have no chance in the world to be a human being practically. Delinquents, prisoners, all sorts of things just marked when they’re born. That to me is the greatest sin – that people can – can commit.

7) “But for my view, I believe that there should be no more babies.”

In a 1947 interview that surfaced via the British Pathe, Sanger described her desire for women in the developed world to cease completely from reproduction.  When asked by the reporter whether this would be impractical to ask women who desire children, but would no longer be able to conceive in 10 years, Sanger said, “I should think instead of being impractical, it is really very practical and intelligent and humane.”

While the radical ideologies of Planned Parenthood’s founder permeated her writings, the abortion giant’s willingness to profit off the targeted killings of black Americans through abortion is still true today. As documented in a Live Action undercover investigation, the abortion giant is willing to bankroll the destruction of black lives for profit.

I've been staying out of this Planned Parenthood misquoted garbage, but it's getting so easy to see the chopped up quotes taken out of context that I wish I could be surprised that you don't know you are "quoting" lies for one and chopped up sentences from different events.

If people were doing this about Trump it would be called "fake news" and condemned like crazy.

"And now,, the article"

What you mean to say is "The Article is not here but copied, hopefully in full, but I won't reference it so you can see if anything is missing or if any additional information is present, so good luck, if anything is incorrect you won't be able to see where I got it from."

This is another case of not looking something up for yourself but letting someone else trickle out selected information.

Look up Margaret Sanger, read her words, in context and tell me she actually said "exterminate" the negro race.  Nah you wont do that because real facts from, multiple verified source material might not agree with you, so stay in the dark and spread selected phrases.

This is no different than the driver's license "judgements" that intentionally leave out the parts that say States can revoke driving privilege's.  So these Sanger "quotes" stop where she is placing them into context, and they are strung together as one quote when they are actually multiple regarding different topics.

Sanger said: "Stopping the reproduction of the unfit"

Sanger actually said:  "We who advocate Birth Control, on the other hand, lay all our emphasis upon stopping not only the reproduction of the unfit but upon stopping all reproduction when there is not economic means of providing proper care for those who are born in health."

Use the whole statement.  Anyone selecting what you get to see obviously has an agenda, they are doing you no favors.

Assuming your quoted articles are factually correct, and the ones I have been looking at are cherry picked, out of context bullshit, Then, I will have to agree that I was duped and believed something the facts would dismiss..
Unlike so many, I Welcome being PROVEN wrong,, I would rather be Wrong today, and Learn,, and Not be so wrong tomorrow, because in admitting being wrong and learning, we become something better than before. I excoriate the unteachable.. So, to be one would be the ultimate hypocrisy,,
I dont ever want that,, so thank you for the links, and I will have to digest all this,, but for now, Im gonna hafta agree with you,, because I got nothing to arue against it with, except for so called quotes that certainly appear to be offerd out of context,,
Thanks E..
I was wondering why you were being so quiet on this.
Glad ya said that..

Did Alveda KingKNOW the truth and Choose to misrepresent Sanger, or was She also convincef Sanger being an evil woman?

And what of other quotes attributed to Sanger, calling them weeds and needing to be eliminated?

"And what of other quotes attributed to Sanger, calling them weeds and needing to be eliminated?"

 Stated in 1924:

How are we to breed a race of human thoroughbreds unless we follow the same plan? We must make this country into a garden of children instead of a disorderly back lot overrun with human weeds.”

So while this may not be specifically racist, it is obviously pro-eugenics and supremist right?

Since historically people won't read references they debate here I took the liberty of posting the entire speech, and even placed in BOLD the part specific to the above quote so maybe it will be read before it is debated further.

Margaret Sanger Microfilm, Smith College Collection,S70:1041.

Every step forward in our history, from those remote days when our prehistoric ancestors first discovered fire, tilled the soil, and domesticated the animals, has been gained through control over some force of NATURE. One by one these great wild powers, each one of them destructive and overpowering, have been harnessed, directed and mastered by human intelligence and made to serve some constructive purpose. The power of the wind, the power of steam, the power of electricity, all and with increasing rapidity have thus been subjugated.

By each of these successive steps, men have made use of these tremendous forces to free themselves from the slavery of toil. At every step in this long journey they have met the opposition of the prejudiced majority. These opposing groups, which have taken no part in progress, laughed at Columbus when he told them the world was round. They burnt great scientists at the stake. They said that automobiles would be impracticable and dangerous. They scoffed at the very idea of aviation. But in spite of all this opposition, a few have been brave enough, strong enough, courageous enough, to bear aloft and to carry onward the torch of civilization.

In Man's onward march towards civilization, one after another, he has conquered and controlled the forces of Nature. Thereby he has diminished disease, pestilence, and famine. Hygiene, surgery and sanitation have been the outcome of his triumph. In gaining control over these powers of Nature, step by step, mankind has made progress.

Hunger and Love

If you stop to think for yourself, you will agree with me that there are two dominant forces of human nature that drive every one of us onward, day in and day out, to work, to struggle, to achieve; to make homes, to establish families. These are the instincts of Hunger and Love. To satisfy our hunger, men compete in business with their fellow men, they labor to attain a little security in life. And similarly to satisfy our undying need for love, we marry, we make homes, we bring children into the world.

You all know as well as I do that morality means the control of these two instinctive impulses. If we aim to satisfy our hunger by eating too much, by refusing to share our bread with our fellow-man, we become immoral and sink to the level of beasts. We are no less immoral if irresponsibly we bring children into this world without first considering our ability to cherish and protect them; without giving thought to the health and strength of the mother, upon whom the great burden falls. Unless he can assure them health, adequate nourishment, sunlight and care, no man is justified in calling an unlimited number of children into being.

Now, just as Man has freed himself from Nature's bondage through invention and machinery, so must Woman free herself from the crushing slavery of undesired maternity through the instrument of knowledge and science. She must learn to space the years between the births of her children. In this matter, let mothers consider the example of the gardener.

A Garden of Children

Just think for a moment of the meaning of the word kindergarten--a garden of children! To me, that is just what the world ought to be--a garden of children. In this matter we should not do less than follow the example of the professional gardener. Every expert gardener knows that the individual plant must be properly spaced, rooted in a rich nourishing soil, and provided with sufficient air and sunlight. He knows that no plant would have a fair chance of life if it were overcrowded or choked by weeds. To grow into maturity, to bud, to blossom, to produce beautiful sturdy flowers in its own season, each plant must have constant attention, incessant care and tender devotion.

If plants, and livestock as well, require space and air, sunlight and love, children need them even more. The only real wealth of our country lies in the men and women of the next generation. A farmer would rather produce a thousand thoroughbreds than a million runts.

How are we to breed a race of human thoroughbreds unless we follow the same plan? We must make this country into a garden for children instead of a disorderly back lot overrun with human weeds.

In a home where there are too many children in proportion to the living space, the air and sunlight, the children are usually overcrowded and underfed. They are a constant burden on their mother's overtaxed strength and the father's earning capacity. Such homes cannot be gardens in any sense of the word. As each new baby comes, a poor little victim brought unwanted into an already overcrowded home, he has less and less chance to survive in his bitter struggle for life. Statistics prove this fact. In families where there are too many children, there is a high rate of infant deaths. Then the schools are overcrowded. Little tots are driven to work at an age when they should be in fields and playgrounds.

A Miracle of Science

The control of this great overpowering human energy, the instinct of reproduction--is what we mean by Birth Control. We, who are carrying on the battle for the great human right of Birth Control, are fighting for better, healthier children, for a race of strong men and beautiful women here in America We place quality above quantity. We want each child to have proper food, warmth, sunlight and fresh air, devotion and love.

Birth Control does not mean childlessness. On the contrary, it does mean fewer, finer, stronger babies, happier, healthier mothers, fathers freed from worry, making their way to success and achievement, because they are inspired and strengthened by harmony and love.

You who are listening in tonight, who are taking part in this miracle of science, in this human control over one of the greatest energies of Nature, in this triumph of intelligence over prejudice and ignorance, remember that just listening in is not enough. Let your intelligence likewise be radioactive. Investigate our claims for yourself. Think for yourself. If you do, I am sure every one of you will join in our great movement to broadcast health and the heritage of health to every mother and child in this land.

Obviously Sanger was a eugenic racist.

"and we all know liars play on both sides of the aisle"

 No kidding.

For every complaint that the "News" is misrepresenting what Trump said there is a conservative website cherry picking sentences to spread garbage information about the "opposition".

When Obama was in office the exact same thing happened.

Any time some article won't provide me the information to read myself I am immediately suspicious.  It's like a mechanic that tells you what parts need replaced but won't let you see the used part.  Weird right?

"why do they need to use violence or lies?"

To coerce others to believe something they otherwise wouldn't.

The problem is how easy it is to spread.  Toss a selected phrase on a website, or a Twitter post and bam, millions spread it without doing even a 1 minute Google search to see if it's real, especially if they agree with the outcome of the lie.  Nobody has issues researching the oppositions claims and finding flaws.

In most cases nobody cares if the garbage information is real if it gets more people on "their side".

"because at 65, Im still a trusting fool, "

Unless it's about climate change, Trump, 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment, Border Patrol, Forest Fire Policy, Corona Virus, Russian election robots, Stay at Home laws, or anything you don't agree with, then you are ok not trusting.  The evidence is all the posts you presented showing misleading or false information from the "other side".

All I am saying is that the same level of skepticism applied to things you don't agree with, like anything "lefty" could be given to things you do agree with, like anything bad shown about Hillary, or Planned Parenthood.  Information about how bad Climate laws are, or Hillary is can just be made up or altered too.
