Yeah, along those lines, a crappy pair of pliers will have you cursing and throwing things across your garage. The pair I have has a reverse function so squeezing the handles together always opens or closes the direction of force needed. They came with different sized pins as well. I don’t what they cost, but they were worth it because I’ve owned the crappy ones.
