Leaking Oil While At Rest
06/15/20 at 12:48:38

My 2003 Savage has been sitting up for about 10 months.
It is inside my 2 car garage, enclosed.
I.ve kept a trickle charger on it, and I have cranked it up several times.
I pulled it out to ride and noticed a very large oil slick.
I viewed the oil in the window, and could see none.
I filled it with oil, but it has a steady drip from underneath...motor off...still leaks.
Could a gasket have "dried" out? that seems silly.
I have somebody coming over to look, but thought I'd see if anyone else had thoughts.
Thanks in advance,
Tim

Tighten all the lower motor mount bolts that go thru main cases. They go thru the frame and rear motor mount bracket at rear of engine. Very common they come loose and leak.
