Is that still considered protesting or is that considered part of rioting or have they simply descended into total lawlessness?

If I were the editor I would call anyone involved a "Criminal" taking advantage of protests, not a "Protester" blowing up an ATM.

Blowing an ATM and stealing all the $$$ is a valid grieving process for Black lives matter people, as well as the Antifa. As is breaking into liquor stores and stealing $400 bottles of Macallan 25's …

Watch out for those hitting ebay now. and really make sure its the real deal and not cheapo chit filled in the bottles.

Cool.

In the old days the trick was the muggers would put on a mask and spraypaint over the camera on the ATM so they wouldn't get caught mugging the next person who used the machine.
Then they started abducting them a few years ago during the snowstorm. Guys were out in Bobcats pretending to be plowing snow but actually were ripping the things out of walls and loading them into trucks never to be seen again.
Now they're blowing them up with improvised explosive devices.
When will it end.
Leave those poor suffering machines in peace!
It's despicable....

Well,, the Protests were about the INJUstice,, right? But now,, since the cops have all been charged,, why the continued protests?

eVEN  CNN said so..

The former Minneapolis Police officer who pressed his knee into George Floyd's neck was charged with second-degree murder and the three other officers on scene during his killing were charged with aiding and abetting, according to court documents.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison's official announcement of the charges is expected to come Wednesday afternoon, more than a week after Floyd was killed while in police custody in Minneapolis. The killing has sparked nationwide protests that call for the end to police violence against black citizens.
Derek Chauvin, who had his knee pressed into Floyd's neck for nearly nine minutes, had previously been charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. The new second-degree murder charge says that he killed Floyd "without intent to effect the death of any person, while committing or attempting to commit a felony offense ... namely assault in the third degree," according to an amended complaint.

It's truly a culture of fear when an innocent ATM machine can't stand in front of a Bodega in the hood without being blown to pieces.
Has it really come to this?

On last count the death toll is 10 ATMs in Philly.
Is the life of one ex-con worth the cost of 10 ATMs? Or 5 even? Plus whatever cash they contained? If any...

The protests are about the continuing injustices occurring not just the murder of Floyd. Hell JOG it's been going on since before the assassination of Martin Luther King, the code of silence and turning a blind eye to racism is why the protests are continuing.

They killed him because the cops said he passed a counterfeit 20 dollar bill. Is that all a person's life is worth now to the police, $20.00?
Watch the video, listen to the sound track and you will hear the cop taunting Floyd about getting up as his life is squeezed out of him.

Actually the store owner that called 911 and gave Floyd's description and complained of counterfeit money is the spark that caused the fire. He thought 20 bucks was worth whatever the cops did to the guy. Let's not go around turning a blind eye to facts.

Yeah the cops killed Floyd for a counterfeit 20 dollar bill. By the way what ever happened to that 20 dollar bill?
It wasn't the store employee's place to determine what punishment Floyd should of gotten. All he expected was that Floyd was going to get arrested not MURDERED, get your facts straight. Neither was it the cop's place  to determine his punishment. The cops murdered Floyd instead of allowing the laws to determine his punishment. If the murder wasn't videoed they would of gotten away with it which is a real travesty of justice.
Watch the F#cking video and listen to Floyd begging for his life with his hands cuffed behind his back while the cops were taunting him as they crushed his life out of him. It took over five minutes for them to murder Floyd. How can you defend something like that and look at yourself in the mirror? With open racism like that I'm ashamed to be a member of the Savage board.
The guy who called the cops now says that he wishes he never called them.

You have the comprehensive insight require to label someone racist based on what? Open racism? Based on what?

I’ll tell you what’s a shame. Tossing around labels because that’s easier than actually facing reality. Actually considering the whole picture. No one who saw that video thought in any manner that it was justified. No one. That cop killed that man and it wasn’t right. But join the crowd and turn it into something else just because. Kill a bunch of other people in these ridiculous protests that will do nothing except put black Americans further behind. Great plan.

I wonder how many white people die from brutality in police custody. Would it make the news?

What happened to Floyd was stupid, but would we have heard anything if the shoe was on the other foot?

We need to stop thinking  of black and white but human and human.

If we can go beyond all the relativism and victimhood mentality we can get to the root of the problem. How is it an armed robbery convict (with priors) that held a gun on an innocent woman gets out of prison after only 5 years?

If punishment still suited crimes committed maybe this guy would still be alive and well in his cellblock.

I don't think murder would be the reasonable projected outcome from a store clerk reporting a counterfeit 20 dollar bill.

To say "He thought 20 bucks was worth whatever the cops did to the guy" is like saying if you report a broken window at your house and the cops murder a 12 year old kid playing with a slingshot, you obviously thought your window was worth whatever the cops did to him.
