 I would consider that to be a stereotypical exaggeration at best.

 The overwhelming number of black fatalities are caused by other black Americans.  This is not a rednecks fault, this is not back country folk rootin tootin and shootin, its black poverty and culture.  The same poverty as the rednecks, just a different culture.

BTW the raw numbers are beyond stupid.
The per capita is what counts.
Indexed to population density is what counts.
Baselined to the living conditions of those people (apartment with central air etc etc) all need to be parameterized.
Base line immunity and general population age and health need to be counted as another variable.
Underlying population age and health need to be counted in.

India is doing great on counts 1 and 2. But - on the other 3 we're swinging an aluminum cricket bat with 24 arms and have 12 heads with 2 eyes per head and perfect 360 vision as well as the ability to feel compressions and rarefactions, sound of ball through the air and precisely pinpoint its location in space time as well as keep an eye on the field to hit a 6 or put it in the perfect location for a 3 on the last ball so as to keep strike, and if the bowler fools you by bowling a no - we clobber for a 6 and wait for the true last ball. Essentially completely meaningless to pitch India in this comparison. We also are used to the closures and perfectly happy hiding indoors cos its burning hot outside 24/7/365.

So its only truly fair to compare America to other parts of itself. Atleast then you take a couple more variables down. Or compare England to france to see what a nationalist leader vs a globalist leader is because they both have the same government healthcare. You need to nail down a few variables and compare one over other where only 1 thing is different.
Comparing Sweden to Manhattan is completely stupid, as is comparing Sweden to India - weirdly they are both similar - for completely 100% polar opposite reasons.

Basically all this garbage is to bash one leader over another. Its like if you had give 1b of tax $$$ to this, and 10 billion to that and 50 billion to that other thing, and not given 50mill to the lab who released the virus then outcome will have been this or that. Boooo…..gggguuuusssss.
