Waco

So Mrs. Web and I binged Netflix’s version of Waco.

As you can imagine, they took the Branch Davidians point of view. There’s no such thing as an unbiased documentarian even if they like to pretend they are only documenting history.
They left out the part that Koresh took over the cult by force with armed friends by his side and he was acquitted at the attempted murder  trial. They did start at least some of the fires that day. The FBI planted a bug and heard them talking about it, but the show left that off. I think he impregnated a 12 year old. Face it, they were f’ing weirdos.

But.....and this is a big butt, there were a million other ways to deal with the situation in a way that didn’t get 26 kids killed along with a bunch of screwed up adolescences and young people.

Watch the show if you want just remember some huge facts are left out that make this almost a fictional story.

Did you see the two guys get on top of the first floor and go thru a window, only to have the third guy stick his gun thru the window and mow them down? Or did they figure that out and cut it?

Yes, I saw that video and that didn’t happen.

Turn the sound off so you don’t hear the “reporter” talking.
Three go in, the fourth pokes his head and gun in for a second, (there’s no recoil so he didn’t fire and certainly didn’t mow anyone down)  and he is clearly hit almost immediately.

Nah, physics don't apply to this particular situation.  Physics also don't apply if we want that guy to mow people down.

Waco ended up as a F-up on BOTH side.
Was Koresh a nut job, Well YA !

The FBI could have taken Koresh, Several Dozen times, alone, by himself.
However the blood bath is started by the FBI,  WANTING, to have a blood bath.
The ‘ruse’ they had a search warrant, is just that, a ‘ruse'.
THEY DID HAVE A SEARCH WARRANT, however how many times is a SW served with helicopters, tanks, and truck loads of swat people ?
The FBI wanted what happened, to happen, just ask Janet Reno.
Oh Ya, ya can’t, and all the messages are, destroyed/covered up.

Now ya want a real travesty to talk about !
Talk about RUBY RIDGE.
Where the FBI ended giving Weaver, 3.1 Million, 25 years ago
FOR THEIR WRONG DOING.

In a nut shell this was the final;
“...the FBI, under the impression (Hmmmm, who told them that ?) they were entering an active, unprovoked firefight against U.S. Marshals, arrived on Ruby Ridge. As hundreds of law enforcement officers and federal agents surged into the area with the unusual orders to shoot any armed adult on sight  …”

Did Weaver do things wrong ? Maybe, no proof. And, the, ‘proof’,  that was said to exist, was all  one sided !
Could have things have gone differently ?
Ya betcha they could have.
But the FBI, ONLY wanted a knock down, drag out, fight.
They got one, and they thought they could do it again with Koresh.

From a VERY, UL FDS Socialist site:
“...When the government tries to squash anti-American ideas
it doesn't like,
the results are often destructive of American ideals…"

Absolute, CLASSIC, Deflection.

No one said one word about any deviations Koresh had.
In fact everybody, (well probably 99.989%), knew he was a Nut Job.

Which has NOTHING to do with:
FBI had Dozen's of times they could have collected him while he was alone.
AND, ya don't show up to serve a Search Warrant, with helicopters, tanks, and truckloads of agents, if ya want to, 'talk'.

Ya show up, dressed for the ball, you are intending to go to.

I have no idea if the accusations against him are true. The same media have lied to me for decades.
They could have arrested him on one of his Solo trips to town. Sure seems like someone wanted the compound destroyed. Didnt violate Posse Comitatus much, did they>?

I agree, they screwed up in countless ways. The show painted the picture that the ATF picked Waco out of a series of investigations they were doing because they were looking for a success story to counter Ruby Ridge. They wanted the TV shots of ATF agents carrying children out of this horrible environment. I don’t know if that’s true or not.

And yes, government leaders lie. Perhaps more that corporate leaders because government leaders don’t answer to customers like business leaders do. Government leaders answer to whatever they perceive to be their definition of protecting the Constitution. Which means they don’t think they’re lying and they genuinely don’t understand it when people say they are.

Are we being lied to now during Covid? Sure. From my point of view, anytime death numbers are posted without corresponding stats on the underlying health conditions of each victim, they’re purposely creating fear that we all share an equal risk. That’s just not true.
