Calm down guys, is my take.  They are as crooked as a dog's hind leg but it is gonna take time to untangle somewhat from them...I have no idea how, but I do not think it is gonna be via warfare.  

On ventilators, I have no idea...I'll look into the link above.

As for warfare I won't be surprised if a new Cold War starts up between the US and China and China will probably win that because no manufacturing left to speak of in the US.
As for the nukes I wouldn't be too squeamish if one was detonated in the upper atmosphere over China and the resulting EMP wrecked their electrical infrastructure and reverted their technology back to 1920s levels. It would save us from losing a Cold War that will likely demolish our already fractured federal government. And future plagues from that country will remain there because nobody there will have the means to leave and nobody except maybe charity workers will want to go there. I have nothing personal against Chinese people but their Commie government is obsolete and needs to die on an infected ventilator.
