It wasn't even from Spain.

For sure the WHO needs to be held accountable for their early praise of China, and that is a valid criticism. However Trump's actions here are designed to 1. try and control the news cycle, which he cannot do, and 2. to try and deflect blame. After all he stated very clearly he takes no responsibility, therefore he has to blame anybody and everybody, it's what he does. It's what any clinical narcissist has to do when faced with the reality of their own idiocy.

But what is very weird is that he is harming the organisation whose job it is to coordinate responses to crises like this, and he's doing that purely out of his own narcissism.
