Need: Crankcase spacers & cushions
04/12/20 at 06:36:37

Hi All,
I have a 1997 Savage my son and I are rebuilding.  After changing the front pully (different story...) and belt, during reassembly we discovered the inner and outer cushions and the spacers weren't there for the crankcase cover.

I know I can get these from Revzilla or PartsBandit, but it would take weeks before they arrived.  So, thought I'd throw it out here to see if anyone might have some.

Many thanks,
Patrick

What exactly are the parts? Link and reference # so I can understand what you need?

I have some spare junk from a 95 motor that I am happy to help with if they are parts I have and they will work for you.

I think he means the 3 isolation rubbers and spacers for the pulley cover.

Gotcha, Those long bolts with the spacers and rubbers.. I'll have to see if those were in my box of bits. Will look tonight.

I wonder how many of these things you have ever owned - I top out at 7 for the savage - but only 5 unique vin's, I bought and sold 1 bike 2X.

My biggest count is for a GS500 - 17 bikes with 15 unique vin's.

On its heels are - Eliminator 9/1000's 5 vins, Honda Nighthawk's 4 Vins, Suzuki GR650 3 (I think), Yamaha maxim - 2, XS650 2, KZ440 - 2, Katana 2 FJ600 (Brother who lived with me then) 2, MZ 660 2 - Shadow 600 1, Ninja 600 1, GSXR 1100 1, SV650 1, SV 1K 1 XJ1100 1.

Some day I gotta tally up all these  - I'm sure I'm missing a few in this stack.

I only have 2 of 3 as the bike was modded cutting off the last one.

These bolts look to be the right ones bit I'm not certain. They are all m6 x 1.0 , lengths 55mm, 50mm, 45mm, 40mm, 35mm. That's all I'm finding in my box of bits.

Is this any help?
