Picked up free food @ school

I waited in a line for about 1 hr. cars were going through single file even though the entire route through the parking lot was 2 lane. Not 1 person cut in, not 1 used the outside lane, not 1 person was in the left lane blocking people, the 2 people that used the left lane - basically left the line and left the school.

The school handed out generous amount of food. We don't waste food, we don't eat when we don't need, we don't over eat and we find all edible wild plants around my house and eat, and share with neighbors if they were so inclined. This covers our food needs for a week - and I got what they counted as 1. I could have got 2 - but then again - I have a yard full of beautiful weeds to eat I'd rather not get more than I need.

I was not surprised but still worth posting about how good this country and my state SC has been. In fact I don't think I even saw 1 person even smoke in their car in the line. It is a tobacco free zone obviously. They were all patient and courteous and polite and no one was acting like we're getting freebies.

Whatever you want to call it - capitalism, nationalism, constitutional republic, representative democracy etc etc - This is absolutely the best form of govt.

When crap like this would happen in India, instantly prices on everything would double, gasoline being the worst. I hear now that Modi (a deep rooted nationalist - also called India's Trump or Boris Johnson) has managed to get prices of all things stable and no more than seasonal variance (like apples go up in summer cos their shelf life is lower etc etc - that's the margin of change). In effect - This should shut down the communist/socialist agenda once and for all.

The food lines in Russia, Venezuela and Cuba are miles long fights break out in the lines, the shelves are near empty and what is on them are well past their prime and well past being affordable. Food lines in SC are miles long with cars polite, courteous, very good food all fresh and cold and free. No contest.

Cool.
Srinath.
