Zevenenergie, nice job on that head pipe.  Double wall too.  How'd you do it?  Very nice.

Tanks dragbike mike,

I'll tell you with pictures.

I let the inner pipe protrude:

Then I weld on the next piece of inner pipe:

Then I weld a piece of outer pipe, which is shorter than the inner pipe. and let the inner pipe stick out again:

I use a tig welder, and use a file to get rid of the welds and I finish it with a piece of emery cloth.

To top tings of....a photo of a drawing.

Wow beautiful Zevenenergie!

How are you attaching the inner tubing to the outer tubing? Any photos of the front and back?

Thank you!

I had to draw the pic and take a photo of it, load it, transfer to snapfish and then bring it over here.
Sure wish we could just pull from the computer directly onto here.
Or can we ?
Anyway, here is my drawing.

Im not sure if you can access this or not.  Let me know.

@jasbmo The front is as standard. It is not ready yet, but I think I turn a ring on the late and weld it in. When I finish taking a picture.

@lancer
Thanks for the effort, I appreciate it. Smiley

I do not use a computer, but project the images and text that I have in my head, directly on the site, so that they materialize automatically without effort,
I,ll soon project a "How to do it".
It wil make your life a lot easier.

I'm going to study the drawing carefully, because I don't quite get it yet.
Ill be back.

I do not know of the arrangement of the spiral baffling, or the transition from tube to baffle.   I think my drawing looks more like the baffles cross each other and thats not what I was going for.  I assume they follow the same curved path.  Are they the same size ? ?  But I would think so.

Sorry I can't be more informative, but I sure like it works !
