After last night.....
03/04/20 at 08:22:10

Here is my take, after watching the results of Super Tuesday....

I think the market is very concerned about Bernie, as are a lot of folk, who abandoned their own aspirations to help Biden.

The fact is, we are a capitalist open market society, our very sovereignty is held together, upon that foundation. Without it, we fragment into a million Valenzuela's.

It does NOT mean Bernie's concerns regarding banking/education, are not of merit....they are, but to throw out the baby with the bathwater is not the answer.

He has ideas, but no seemingly viable means to attain them, without a great uncertainty, and RISK.

I hope with Joe getting the nod, we will get a more balanced outcome to the general election.....too much power on any given side is never good in a two party system.

We saw how it went with Obama in his first term, the folks fixed it the very first chance they had to vote again in midterms.

I fear this power, if given to the republicans, will just further delay any real resolutions to problems facing all of us....because of party politics, and the power it holds with that "belief".....

I will give this as a example: You can NOT be a democrat with any standing, if you are not 100% for any and all abortions.....

This issue, by its very nature, is NOT about ALL of us, nor does it allow opposing views and beliefs to be part of the equation....that is not healthy, or right, for a democracy.

As with gun rights......all of our governing policies should always be open for review, and challenge......ALWAYS!

Anyway....I think we ALL need to get better at welcoming dissenting views, and beliefs, not only is it the right thing to do and a major component to freedom, it can also be a great opportunity to cement our own beliefs to self, as it (your beliefs) can stand any challenge to them........

Peace.....AIG

And Bloomie gets out endorsing Biden, likely pouring in billions to help the unhelpable. Now Bloomie is gonna find out just how much the .000000000001% ers are hated, even by the 1%ers.
We are the 99%, and we vote against the Bloomies (and Bidens) of the world.
It is not now, was it never about Trump, it is about being against big $$$$ and how the google twins, the Zuck, the Gates, the Buffet etc etc have been robbing the middle class.

Cool.

We are where everyone pretty much thought we would be. We have a supposedly moderate candidate in Joe Biden versus what they call a progressive candidate in Bernie Sanders. I originally thought it was going to be Kamila Harris instead of Biden but either way we have a “moderate“ versus “progressive“.

One of them is going to come out on top. The question has always been well the losers get behind the winners?

I don’t think so, in a quantity sufficient enough to make the difference in election anyway. I think if Biden wins, it’s possible Sanders will run as a third-party knowing full well Biden has no chance to beat Trump so he’s not really changing the outcome but he’s making a point.

Bloomie screwed over Biden but will pay him off.
Bernie got screwed over by Warren and he's gonna get bupkis for that.
Bernie got robbed again - this time by CA's 15% crap rules that counts 35% as = 15%.
Well atleast they didn't change the rule after they found Bernie winning, however wait wait there's more, there are

The magic number to win the Democratic nomination is 1,991 — that’s one above a majority of the 3,979 pledged delegates from primaries and caucuses around the country. California has more delegates at stake than any other state: 415 pledged delegates, more than a fifth of the total needed for victory.

Quick-but-important side note: The state will also send an additional 79 superdelegates — party leaders and elected officials — to the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in July. But superdelegates can only vote at the convention if no candidate wins a majority of the pledged delegates based on the state-by-state results, so they don’t factor into Tuesday’s primary.

About a third of California’s pledged delegates — 144 — are divided based on the statewide results. The other 271 delegates get split up based on the results in each congressional district.

Pay attention here! Not every district is equal: Those that voted more Democratic in past presidential elections get more delegates. So House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s ultra-liberal San Francisco district has seven delegates to award, while GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s Trump-loving Bakersfield district only has four. That makes the deep-blue Bay Area a major prize.

Very interesting - And an excellent way to fudge the results.

Cool.

You might wanna hold off on your celebrations.

In a contested vote where Democrats were energized, from what I saw this morning , the top four candidates (Biden, Sanders,Bloomberg and Warren) received a total of 1,770,360 Texas votes.

In a totally uncontested vote where voters had no real reason to get out, Trump got 1,879,759 votes.
That’s over a 100,000 more votes.

Hope you kept the receipts on those party favors.

You’re missing the point, there was no reason for Republican voters to get out, but they did. That’s significant, that means something.

"You’re missing the point, there was no reason for Republican voters to get out, but they did …”

Also believe, A great many Trump supporters voted in the Dem primary, and many that were,’registered’ Rep, changed ‘registration’, JUST to vote for B.S. knowing full well he would NEVER win,  just to skue the results.

The BS’s and AOC likes will always have some support, mostly with young people, that have never worked.
Most of those, after they grow up, realize what a ‘drag’ Socialism is, and then change their thinking, knowing, Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie, only works until one runs out of someone else’s money.
Until parents/teachers/peers/etc, teach young people growing up that,  Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie,  does NOT work, their will be more, and eventually they will elect more, Socialists, to rune this Great Nation.

Then the 3 groups will be;
The very rich, who don’t care because their pockets are full. (This will be the smallest group)
The, ‘Middle Class’, who will get EVERYTHING for ‘free’. (This will be the middle sized group)
The,  working class, who will take care of the lazy by working hard and paying 75% of their wages to keep the above group sitting on the porch drinking Mint Juleps.  (This will  be the, LARGEST, size group)

That will work, until total collapse,
then Strong people will emerge, and create good times,
Then the Socialists, (weak and lazy), will start the process all over again.

This November is vote,
give-me Socialist, BAN Freedoms, and make sure everyone is in, LOCK STEP.
Or continue to clean the Swamp.

Biden was seen as the best bet to take Trump, and Biden losing to Trump is far from certain. More importantly, he's likely to fare the best among the ones left after SC primary but before CA, now of course after CA there is only 2 and definitely the party prefers Trump to Bernie. And I would say, Bernie will lose bigger to Trump and that is a certainty.

Well to TOOT my horn, I picked Uncle Joe from the get go....  Smiley

Lots still left to decide, factor in.

Either way, as a nation we'll survive, we got through Obama, and we got through 4 years of Trump, with many predicting“catastrophic” outcomes....

One major thing to factor in to account, and this election is showing it to be true, in a glaringly obvious way.....

The DC swamp is populated with very old folk.

Look, times are changing, it waits for no one.

Sure, every segment of the population passes through these same doors, none of us can escape the cycle of life....

However, it really is more than that, the world is changing greatly too, and technologies have brought us to a new brink that we use to only see as science fiction......

I guess we can say reality  is changing, and we need those who see it in a more up to date manner, to be in charge.....

OK, let me have it naysayers, I am going to go watch Walton reruns, I won't see your snark anyway   Grin Grin Grin
