Seat is basically done. Will yank the seat pan and paint it black. Still have some frame tabs to grind off.

Reg/rec mount. I'm using a Shorai lithium battery. The stock Suz-Q charging system can run as high as 15.5V, which is enough to blow up a lithium battery. Since I was in the market for a new R/R, I used the lithium compatible one from Ricks in New Hampshire.
I'll prob leave the mounting bracket plain aluminum.

The seat pan is the underneath part. Right now it's raw, million ply, 1" thick plywood.
Aluminum is staying unpainted.

Z
I'm thinking I'm going to leave that open.
Part of the look I want is a sense of openness. You can see through the bike.
Tank is being cut and modded as we speak. Lowering the floor. adding mounts.

Would you rush a Michael Angelo?  Would Einstein have appreciated a gentle shove when he was pondering his theory of relativity?  Of course not.

But hey, c'mon Armen, post some more pics.  Wink

Was out of town for a week. Waiting for my bud to weld the tank.
I had an outfit do the tubeless conversion on the wheels years ago while they were building the wheel. They used while silicone over clear silicone. Never held air. Spent more than 5 hours chiseling, scraping, wire wheel, etc trying to get the gunk off. White silicon was so heavy a layer that I couldn't get the tire off because the bead had nowhere to go down into.
Have an Outex kit I'll use, but i've spent an  insane amount of time getting this sorted out.
