Been a few years since I logged on here sorry about that. I've responded to a few PM's. Poor old SavageBob got a bit sidelined in the past few years as my life because increasingly complicated.
Incidentally, it has come to a point where I may have to sell it.
Due to legality issues in my country it might be simpler to sell it without the supercharger fitted. So I am wondering if there is any interest on here to purchase my kit.
The kit:
-AISIN AMR300 supercharger
-Customised mount, bolts and brackets
-Custom designed and engineered crank shaft and pulley key
-Customised stator cover with pressed crank bearing
-Intake plumbing with custom relief vale
-Drive pulleys and belt and tensioner
-Customised belt cover (Ford SOHC)
-Harley Davidson CV carb with Boyesen Twin Shot Kit and trumpet
I can include an SV650 oil cooler that I never fitted to the bike.
I built this setup as a fun way to boost to work and feel like MadMax. But after shifting house and job I no longer find the time to use the bike. I'm sad seeing it sitting there unused like it is.
It ideally suits someone who's keen on a bit of project and has carb tuning knowledge. I've set it up for commuting around my town just fine. But it's has little sustained highway use and that would be new territory. I also never put it on a dyno as I couldn't find anyone here with a motorbike dyno.
