Headlight not working
01/25/20 at 15:09:27

Howdy all...

During last tear down, cleaned up the harness by removing plastic tape (a sticky f+ing mess) and replaced with woven split loom, heat shrink & cloth tape, all from Revival. Much neater.

Didn't really "rewire" anything and all connections and connectors seem to be in order. After powering on and testing, everything works EXCEPT the headlamp and indicator lights (the simpler version from RYCA). Tested the headlamp and it does work.
Realize I have to dig back into the harness, and assuming the issue may be in the L handlebar switch, but wondering/hoping someone might have a place for me to start...??

Thanks in advance for any advice....

Thanks Serowbot...that's my next project and assume you refer to the yellow multi connector. I did change the headlight connectors running from the handlebar, but still no luck.

And yes, the loom is nice but will more than likely have to remove some of the heat shrink that complements the loom...bummer Sad

be safe out there...

Tests run on wires periodically during an extreme overhaul could be a good plan.
