A clean build from our Russian friend. I rather like the Triumph OIF effect of his frame. And watch the video if for no other reason than the starter "switch" (spoiler alert, low RPM is obviously problematic).

Here's the video

And then an earlier rendition with original Savage tank and frame using a Grumman-style fuel selector valve. Note also the battery placement with all electrics forward.

Hope he notices that he placed a nut on both sides of the flange ,on the lower clutch cable ,instead of both being on top.

Nice Bob , That color scheme works really good .

It could be the neat body work ???

Must be the combination !   Smiley

Sure is a quality looking build.

It looks like he was thinking about a larger rear fender with braces at some point, as he welded on some mounts to the top of the swing arm by the shock mounts.

The last two photos don't have the small fender mounted, and there is a different seat on the bike, and there is no battery or battery box on the bike.

With all that work to sculpture the frame - I wonder why he didn't remove the passenger footpeg mounts from the swingarm?

Wonder if this is a show bike.....or gets ridden?

Good catch Batman.

And Dave, I believe the battery is mounted out front of the crankcases on that earlier rendition.

I kind of like the early bike's starter button, looks like an old telegraph key right on top of the starter.

"The blues" on the right side is backwards ? Like a mirror image ?
I like the fuel "tap" as well on the 2nd one (first) one, and the first one's handlebar.

Cool.
Srinath.
