The word 'upgrade' is nteresting. Do you mean:

I want to add/change things because it's fun to personalise the bike.
I want to make it perform at it's best - or better.
I want it to look better.
I want it to be more comfortable to ride according to my style.
I want it to be safer to ride according to my style.

They're all valid perspectives but each answer will give you different mods to make.

If I was gonna change one thing it would be re-jet and tune the carb (and replace the petcock)

S40, 2014, Dyna, Raptor, 52.5/152.5, spacer mod, sea level, cat-eye LED tail light, bullet style halogen turn signals, 'Superbars' with custom 40mm risers, modified stock seat, Metzeler tyres.

Since you have good tech/mech skills you may also wish to consider Daves Front pulley mod, this involves replacing the stock front pully with a Kawasaki 25 tooth pulley, will give reduced revs at cruising speed, without sacrificing too much pulling power. Dave has threads on this, and most who have done it seem satisfied, you would need to remove an insignificant piece of the pulley cover.
