It indicates Fox is the most balanced between the two regarding how many times the word "Trump" is spoken compared to Obama.

By "balanced coverage" you also mean what the article said? Fox staff spoke the words Trump and Obama with 1.3 times disparity.

CNN has mentioned Trump 2.4 times more than Obama, MSNBC 2.1 times more and Fox News just 1.3 times more, showing the most balance between the two. I'd be interested in the numbers if they included POTUS, President, Commander in Chief, and other descriptions of the US President as well.

It reports this study only gathered data starting with Obama. I will try and find more data regarding context of covered news articles, etc....as in positive vs. negative, ect.

That's because Faux news praises Trump and trashes Obama. That ratio is 1.3 : 1.
CNN praises Obama and trashes trump, that Ratio is 1 : 2.4

None of them are balanced, but in effect Obaba is seen as being 2.4 X as good as trump is bad by CNN and so on.

So it's not about balanced "coverage" but more about balanced "how many times a word was said".
