Keep in mind, democracy, and the inherent freedom allowed and promoted, really has no historical sibling, we are unique upon ourselves, and with that understanding, or agreement (?) we need to be honest and admit we can never factor in all the changes that come with freedom, itself......

What would be more efficient, (remember, wasted energy creates a strain on resources too, which in theory, can cause more global warming itself, as a contributing factor.)

Folks having a system where access to "wealth" is through the market, and their own labor, or one relying solely on the dictates of a centralized power?

For the sake of argument, lets just choose one, for now, I know safeguards, etc, need to be implemented, etc, but that can come after which system we can decide offers the best, and most efficient, opportunities to self independence, and the freedom "wealth" can afford.
