Went into a bank branch the other day and saw a sign asking if people wanted to sign up for facial recognition, now too frightened to go into the bank. Rang another bank the next day, person on phone helpful and sorted my question, then asked if I wanted to sign up for voice recognition, now I'm too frightened to ring a bank.

The police also have cameras and computers that can read license plates.

The are mounted at intersections to scan passing cars, and if they want to pick you up for something they can see what time of day you normally pass through an intersection....and they can wait for you to pass by on your normal route.

They can also be mounted on the police cars to scan plates as the police drive - and the computer will alert them if it scans a plate of a stolen car, or somebody they are looking for.

The area I live in is still pretty rural and can't afford this kind of technology - but I am sure some of it exists across the river in Cincinnati, Ohio.
