Judge orders Trump to ACTUALLY pay 2M to charities

Lest you missed this, Trump was using his namesake charity to fleece supporters of veterans and veterans, soliciting contributions for vets, then spending the money on his campaign, among other junk, to the tune of $2.82 million.

David Fahrenthold won the Pulitzer Prize in 2017 for uncovering Trump's malfeasance, eventually pressuring Trump via reporting to actually make some donations after exposing Trump's repeated lies that he had given millions.

This was a SETTLEMENT- Trump has agreed to pay 2 million, in addition to a 1.7 million dollar distribution from the remaining holdings of the Trump Foundation. Trump's children- Donald Trump Jr, Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump -will receive compulsory training on the laws they violated. Trump will be subject to monitoring by the Attorney General of New York State. Under the terms of the settlement, Trump will admit his crimes in writing.

Now we know why Trump just announced he'd be fleeing New York State for Florida.

But remember, the lawsuit is political, they were going to give all the money away anyway. Eventually. But they were "informed" of their misconduct before they got around to giving the money out to the people they raised it for.

So is it really illegal? I mean if I intended to do the right thing, but didn't, did I really do anything wrong?

Given you ignore Hunter Biden scamming millions off his daddy’s name and office, (which raises countless questions about what did they get for all the money that gave him) I assumed your position on topics like this is “whatever.....we don’t care what rich people do with their money.”
