Deb and I will be leaving in a week to head to Jasper. On Saturday we will drive to Poplar Bluff, Missouri, then complete the drive to Jasper on Sunday, Sept. 12th.

The weather forecast has improved and currently there is no rain threat for the entire week! (Subject to change). Daytime temps in the middle 70's are a welcome 20 degrees cooler than when Deb and I were there last year - it was in the 90's all week!
Night and early morning temps will be in the mid 50's - so be sure to bring a jacket.

I am looking forward to a week of good riding with good friends!

We'll leave Sunday morning and be in Jasper Sunday night . Next week I'll compile stuff to bring , then weed out the stack , then load the Guzzi in the truck.

I'm bring the truck so ... any special request ?

The 200 "ci" grill , fuel , and grill mats
My spatula / spices
A cooler
The sleeping bags / pillows
A 60 degree ridding jacket / real gloves
Plan on doing laundry once in mid week.
Over night bag
Bike wash supplies
?????

I'll try to arrive in Jasper by around 2 pm Sunday afternoon which is another 160 miles or so.

We're in a middle of a heat wave, typical for Sept. but hotter than usual. Yesterday I washed the bike and it was snowing. California summer snow is not like the usual stuff, it don't melt.
