There's a laundry list of these sorts of police killings in the US, but, it's difficult to fathom for non US citizens.

A friend of mine after a visit to the State, gave me this advice about 35 years ago if stopped by the police in your vehicle. Do not get out of the car as you could get shot.

Now it's like don't leave your door open, because the police might kill you. After all if they go to investigate and you're in the house they'll have no choice but to neutralise the imminent threat you pose.

" So you aren't at higher risk if you get out of your car? I've always known the opposite, sit in the vehicle, make sure your hands are where they can see them.
