So there were "only" 297 people killed by rifles.... (does that include the 58 shot all at once in Las Vegas?)

Then, what about the other 39,700 killed last year by guns other than rifles?

Didn't someone on here say that no matter the stat, it can be manipulated?

Yeah.... the article you posted is a pretty lame attempt at protecting "AR" style rifles.

Oh, and to be clear - no one wants to ban all guns.

I am in favor of banning "AR" style guns. At the very least, make it harder for people to get them.

This blatantly ignores the murder rate per minute and death count efficiency process. When one person kills over 50 people in a nightclub with knives, a hammer and his feet call me.

When one person murders over 50 people in a concert venue from a hotel room with knives, hammers and his feet, let me know.

Again this comparison is poor because nobody is willing to believe that knives can kill as efficiently as guns in the hands of one person. But keep doing it expecting different results.

Nobody was killed by grenades or bio-pathogens this year, lets legalize them.
