This may be true, but we established on here back when Alex Jones was removed from Twitter that it constitutes "abuse" and shouldn't be allowed. These companies have to let all people say anything they want, or its abuse apparently.

Sorry, no, I'm not defending either side. I'm pointing out that this forum is just like Facebook. What you and mn don't seem to realize is that the laws in the EU are different than they are here. (duh)

You and he have some strange fear that the EU is somehow going to dictate to us and I'm saying that's not going to happen. Further, Facebook is not a government entity and can block at their own will. Yes, within the EU, they have to follow their rules, just like here. But if you read anything more about the story, you'd know that this is an ongoing issue - EU legislators plan to reconsider laws relevant to both parts of the court’s decision. Although they are unlikely to rule out blocking technologies altogether, they could at least limit them to cases in which they are proved necessary, accurate and not an undue impediment on privacy or speech.

Hey, besides, your boy trump would never do such a thing.... would he?...
