sanctuary cities

Got it !

Seeing as how, 'sanctuary cities', are so popular.
Seeing as how, 'sanctuary cities', do NOT violate Federal Law.
Seeing as how, 'sanctuary cities', will, 'fix' everything.

When the UL, FDS, Socialists come to Confiscate any Firearm I have.
I will simply declare my House a, 'sanctuary house'.
And all will be OK !!!!!

What ya talking about !
If a City can say it's a: 'sanctuary city',
and it does, NOT, need any 'support' from the Federal Government.

If a State, can say it's a 'sanctuary State',
and it does, NOT, need any 'support' from the Federal Government.

Why in the world would you think,
my Home, needs ANY, 'permission/support', from the,
Town/Township/County/State/Nation I live in ????

It's even simpler than that.

If Bruce Jenner can keep his d!ck and still be a woman, I can keep a gun and still be disarmed.

No.
Just like a, 'sanctuary city'.

Ya know, those places where a, 'city/state', totally ignores the Federal Law.
Where that, 'City', gives protection, to a Illegal Alien, (not from Mars), so they cannot be 'Confiscated', (deported).
And the federal government does nothing, (except talk), about it.

That is what my Home, and many others, will become, when/if the Federal Government decides to, (Confiscate) a firearm.
And those who have the room/range, (at their Home), to shoot those Confiscated firearms, will simply thumb their nose at people watching accost the fence.
Just like the,  'sanctuary city/states', do when they have a Murderer, Thief, Vandal, Terrorist, in the  'sanctuary city/state'.

All Marijuana is against Federal Law.

Marijuana is legal in certain states, even recreationally.

Interesting discussion could occur.

A 'State/City', makes up it's own rules.
Contrary to the rules of the Nation.

Which are correct ? Which does one follow ?

And going back in time, was there not a,
'War Between the States',
which was started BECAUSE, of, 'States Rights'.

Another point, the people tearing down Statues,
(Many representing the C.W. and people in it)
Are they not the same ones saying they/it represent/s something that the Nation was against ?
And that is the reason they wanted them removed ?

How does that work, when a National law says.
(to the like), 'Deport Illegals'
And a Calf law says: (to the like),
All Illegals come here, we will Protect You.

Which one is correct ?

Which one is correct ?

 They both are.

Historically states legalize things prior to Federal change.  The 19th Amendment for instance.

The Supremacy Clause in Article VI though is the opposite side of that coin.  Then look at US v Windsor and we get opposing results.

I think it's more about what the issue is and it's level of enforceability that prevails at the end of the day.
