Why Bot......why?
08/30/19 at 09:34:01

You tell us Trump is toast.....
You have all the data and facts that say he can NOT win reelection.

Then why are the libs willing to risk a colossal backfire by pushing for impeachment, which if we are to believe polls, a majority of folks are against it.
Just beat him at the ballot box.

Why are we not spending all of this energy on the homelessness crisis, don't these folks deserve our help?
How about schools in poor neighborhoods getting all that attention, or why crime in Chicago is so bad with the black kids, or our crumbling infrastructure, or energy grids.....or?

Why......he is done, kaput, what are you libs really afraid of?

Him winning when you say ortherwise?

The Democrat Congress has put out a ton of legislation,... only to have it shut down by Moscow Mitch and Trump.
The obstruction is in the Senate and the White House.
Over 100 Bills Await Action in the Senate.

Trump is too busy attacking immigrants and US Allies...
He doesn't want to help the needy or fix problems.
In fact, he exacerbates them.

Talking points....meh.

A ton, list just a half a ton of bills directed at what I listed.

And again, if, as you say, TRUMP is toast, why give the guy a opportunity to use a impeachment to feather his own bed, and to energize his supporters even more?

Why do you think its pretty much only Nancy stopping this from happening....
Hate her or love her, she knows the game of politics, why isn't she just jumping on board too?

She either caves, and risk going against the majority of folks, especially losing middle and swing voters, or holds out, infuriating those zealous to get Trump, at any cost......

Do you think she knows more than those being driven by the media, etc?

You know the media would love a impeachment.....the coverage equals revenue, that is really all they care about.

I gotta believe she knows more than the pundits, talking heads, and TDS zombies.....
I wouldn't want her job right now  Shocked

Sorry but don't we have an extremely low unemployment rate? Don't we have historically low rates in minority communities? Don't we have extremely high consumer confidence? Other than the debt, isn't practically every economical measuring stick in a good place?

FYI - from Vox:

Here’s a list of bills the House has passed since January
House Democrats have passed a wide range of bills since they came to power in January, ranging from a sweeping anti-corruption and pro-democracy reform known as HR 1, to bills to save net neutrality, establish background checks for guns, and put the United States back in the Paris Climate Accord.

They have also put a large emphasis on health care, a defining issue of the 2018 election after Trump and Senate Republicans attempted to pass a bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. Democrats have focused on bills to lower prescription drug costs, protect preexisting conditions, and condemning the Trump administration’s legal battle to strike down the ACA in the courts.

Much of this agenda is sitting in the Senate. The few things House Democrats and Senate Republicans have agreed on: disaster relief aid, reopening the government after the shutdown, the resolution to end US involvement in the Yemen war, a bill to protect public lands, and a resolution disapproving of Trump’s use of emergency powers.

But on major policy issues — like health care and infrastructure, or even bipartisan ones like net neutrality or the Equal Pay Act — Democrats’ bills are continuing to languish in the Senate. Here’s a list of bills and resolutions the House has passed so far.

Health care
HR 259 — Medicaid Extenders Act of 2019
House Resolution 271 — Condemning the Trump Administration’s Legal Campaign to Take Away Americans’ Health Care
HR 986 — Protecting Americans with Preexisting Conditions Act of 2019
HR 987 — Strengthening Health Care and Lowering Prescription Drug Costs Act
HR 1520, the Purple Book Continuity Act (bill aimed at lowering the cost of prescription drugs)

Civil rights

HR 124 — Expressing opposition to banning service in the Armed Forces by openly transgender individuals

Environment
HR 9 — Climate Action Now Act

S 47 — National Resources Management Act
HR 2578 — National Flood Insurance Program Extension Act of 2019
Military/foreign affairs
HR 840 — Veterans’ Access to Child Care Act
HJ Res. 37 — Directing the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities in the Republic of Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress

HJ Res. 30 — Disapproving the President’s proposal to take an action relating to the application of certain sanctions with respect to the Russian Federation
Mueller report
H.Con.Res. 24 — Expressing the sense of Congress that the report of Special Counsel Mueller should be made available to the public and to Congress.

FYI - from Vox:

VOX,
Is that not a far, LEFT, 'news' source ??????

Normal numbers, on the #'s of bills, that don't make it.

Question, how many of them are filled with PORK, for the Swamp Creature who is pushing it ?

How many are duplicative of laws already on the books but just not enforced ?

"...In review, Vox looks at the issues from a progressive liberal perspective and there is also an anti-Trump tone in their reporting. Therefore, the majority of stories are pro-left and anti-right. Further, Vox publishes stories with emotionally loaded headlines..."

What does the source matter for these particular items?  These are straight from the House.

It's like me criticizing a football score that was posted on fox news.

I don't know.  That wasn't at issue.  Go ahead and look it up if you want to know.

As we all should know by now, the name of a piece of legislation is likely not a good indicator of what impact it actually will have. The ACA, Affordable Care Act being a good example.

If I look at this list, what names stand out?.... Hmm.... let's see...

For the People Act of 2019   I doubt that.HR 9 — Climate Action Now Act   Pretty sure if Climate were a person, they'd be laughing at the idea the US could take action now...
R 7 — Paycheck Fairness Act   About the only thing that's going to do is create government jobs in some new agency which for those people, it will create a paycheck!

HJ Res. 30 — Disapproving the President’s proposal to take an action relating to the application of certain sanctions with respect to the Russian Federation Mueller report   WTF does that even mean?

Some pretty darn funny names for the others........ Who comes up with these?

Crooks, liars and thieves name them.
Make it sound innocuous.
Every bill should reference where the constitution gives them the authority.

In July 2018 Senate Intelligence Committee concluded that Russia interfered in the 2016 election with the goal of helping Trump. This House bill would require the reinstatement of sanctions against Russian individuals involved in 2016 election interference actions.

Passed in the house with 362 votes.
226 Dem,... 136 Rep...
...about as bipartisan as you get.
