It stored outside so not a very good condition. I currently owned 2008 S40. Is many parts are interchangeable? Is it might be good cash for selling some parts? Please let me know what you guys think.

Does it have one?.

I live Toronto, Canada. We don't have many bike as USA does and not many people buy Savage or S40. Yes it does have a belt, belt pully , carburator, starting motor, all front end include brakes, no front turn signals, fuel tank(needs to sand, bondo, paint), Frt & rear wheels, rear shocks(looks like aftermarket), Muffler, no seat. passenger backrest etc...
All chrome is not good shape.

Back in the early 2000's I owned a '94 KDX200. The engine was built by Eric Gore and the suspension was tweeked to perfection. The bike was the perfect woods weapon (I even raced a few MX tracks with it) and I thought I'd have the bike for decades. Worried about having enough parts for so many years I purchased a roller (no engine) for a few hundred dollars. I disassembled the parts bike, cleaned each part, bagged and tagged right down to the nuts and bolts, and stored on a dedicated shelf in my basement. I had "inventory"

About a year after buying the roller I experienced my first (then new to the market) modern four-stroke off-road bike. A few weeks later I had a Yamaha YZF250 that I modified, once again, to perfection.

The KDX was ridden a few times over the course of a few years...and then sold. The only part I ever used from the roller was a fuel cap. The remainder of it was brought to the dump about two years ago when I need the shelf space. Thrown away, bagged and tagged.

Especially when you consider that you are unlikely to spend $400 in parts on your 2008 over the next 10 years.

All chrome is not good shape.

If the parts are usable and that you might use them in the event of a crash, then it might be worth it if you can store it. But if chrome is in bad shape would you want to use them?

Older style is more comfortable than newer style handle bar? and interchangeable too? I am 5.6 tall. I want as comfortable as possible. Last weekend I went solo long ride and was very tired.
