New member, from Sweden!
I like to present my self at first.
Im a 63 years old former biker.. 20 years ago at least!
Anyway.. I bout me a Suzuki savage!
And all I know about this bike is from this forum.
Its a 2000 made, but it has only gone 8370 kilometers (5200 miles?)
It looks like almoste brand new.. exept that former owners put on some extras, like Leo Vince  k02 silvertal exhauste, leather bags  and some other leather on the fueltank. Ther are som extra leather grips for the handels that nor the former owner or I would put on!

As I sayd.. im learned most about this bike on this forum!
Soon I would present som pictures on the bike if I only learn how to do it, IE how to get pictures from my PC to this forum.
Anyway.. I have figure out that Leovince is an European (Italian) brand.. for exhaust systems.. is there  in USA? Im got the original exhaust anyway, but the slip on Leovince looks nicer. Smiley
And as it was a 2000 made, I put on new tires.. figure out that there was a lot of rubber on the tires that make it go thru the anual safe regular inspection, but I saw a lot of smal dry crackings at the rim.. soo now i have brand new tires and got an uppgrade from 140 to 150 on the backtire.. there is no more 140 tires.. I dont bother or if the wider backtire the better.. at least if one dont need to do a lot of work!
Soo to the riding.. IE it was at least 20 years ago, it was a little adwark att the begining.. one have to be customiced whit riding a bike again and the frontset fotpegs. Im still a fotbreaker, im strugle to use the handbrake and the throttle handle at the same time.. it goes better and better every new time! I know all this as a former biker, its almoste about to get it as a habit!

Back brake is not very good on these bikes.
Work on your front brake skills.  A lot safer.
Cool

Yeah.. i know that.. and its not only on this bike, it goes for almoste any bike that not got ABS and multiple braking system! The foot braking is a car habit, one have to be used to riding a bike. Anyway, this was a trial for getting A-licens (bike licens) in Sweden. One hade to go about 50 km/an hour
and and then brake/stop before the cones! Soo I got both A and B licens at that time.

I tried putting the link in the URL and it wouldn't bring up the picture.
So, something wrong with the address.

Double answers.

In any case, the former owners put on a leather tool bag on the front fork, it probly comes whit the sadle bags and the leather on the gas tank?

I have thougt about if it could disturb the airflow for cooling but it looks quite nice and custom like and over the airflow?

Fork bag will not hurt/affect cooling. I have had one on my bike for 7 years and never had a cooling issue. Heck, if they did no one would be buying them....

Yeah, there are a lot of airflow anyway.. often too much if one take a fast grip on the gas handel.
Soo it was the head light that got hot, and then I learned that there was a another way to put on the light to be on but only as a daytime runing lamp!

Its like going to school again!
Anyway your bike looks great on that picture!

It seems that you got extra fotpegs on your bike and a windshield, im just converting to frontpegs from down under fotpegs! I still want to lean forward but Im get more customised to lean  more bakward to set my boots forward! And I still use footbraking,, but I can tell you thats no problem  becuse I dont  drive that fast. But I still need to get ride of that.
