PM sent. Thank you for making these. Never realized how much wobble I had on my hub until I read this thread and checked. Can't wait to put one in.

Got my new spacer from Armen, snagged a Chinese double row bearing off of ebay for $16.99. Tapped the old bearing out of the hub with an appropriately sized socket and a hammer. Cleaned up the hub, threw it in the oven on 250 Fahrenheit, new bearing in the freezer, waited 45 minutes, dropped right in. Armen's spacer fits perfectly. Really easy fix for a big problem. Thanks again Armen.

Aw, Excellent! Thanks for the kind words!
I have one more modified spacer in stock, and two not cut yet. Will try to cut them this week. And I think someone owes me one...
So, if anyone needs one, let me know.
And thanks to DBM for coming up with the fix!

I owe you one!  End of the year got super busy with work (traveling out of state and out of the country) and my house remodel killed all of my free time. Maybe I can find a few minutes in the next week or two to get on this and get you my core.  Sorry for the super long delay!

Well, in an effort to become shockingly rich, and to make all your S40s/Savages the chick magnets they were destined to be, I finished whittling two more rear axle spacers, giving me a total of three to mail out. And if an unnamed slacker ever sends me his stock one, I'll have another.
Same deal, $25 including postage. You send me your stock one.
thanks,
-Armen

This weekend.  It is my goal to get this swapped this weekend!

I will hopefully have my core back in the mail to you Monday, but I am not sure I have your address handy (may be on the original shipping envelope in the shop)?  PM me.

If you open the box and glitter and BBs roll out everywhere consider it a gift for waiting on me so long Grin Grin Grin

Thanks!

Got it.

Any other parts you need to hack up while I am sending a package?  I picked up a parts bike a while back (frame, no wheels or tires, no tank, no forks) that had an engine failure due to failed tensioner. Dave has the rocker already, and I don't think I have the right tool to yank out the flywheel (or does it not necessarily require a special tool, just muscle?).

Anyhow, not sure what all is in the boxes of bits but I can dig around if you tell me what you are looking for.

Thanks! I think I'm good for now. Yes, you need a few tools to yank the flywheel. If you want to do a light flywheel, Dave has them and a tool package to rent.

Armen, slight delay getting the spacer off and in the mail. Had a fight with the radial arm saw this morning and my right hand it outta commission for a couple of weeks. Promise to get after this as soon as I am able.
