Seafoam can produce that kind on smoke.

It could also be oil burning off the motor. Have a look for oil around the nut at the front of the motor next to the header or around the spark plug behind the chrome head covers. It's a common slow leak caused by a leaking plug/cap under the head cover.

What is an OEM rebuild kit? ,I've never seen one, tell us where you found it . If it was online be careful that the jets are the proper size ,that is the same size as the ones you remove, often these "kits" for the Savage aren't.

You don't need one to clean a carb.  A can of carb cleaner and a face shield is all you need.
