What speed are you shifting at ?   If it's to soon the bike will protest.

Noise
ClunkLunkLunk?
How many miles on it?
Don't change into second under twenty MPH.
If it's uphill, higher, downhill, meh, lower is okay,
But don't try to accelerate hard at those speeds.

It is a 86 savage not sure how many milles due bad odomenter(but should have a lot), of course
I sequence properlly from 1rst to 4 gear, but in 2nd fails and get that noise (internal mesh noise) normally it does at uphill not downhill

probably I would need to disasembly complete engine to get transmision mesh?

Of course you're doing it right
And you just quite possibly are
Doing it right
But
How
FAST are you going when you shift into
Second?

Your "dogging "the motor ,you shouldn't be shifting until you hit  a LEAST , 25-30mph . If you shift into 4th below 40mph the bike will react the same way ,it's telling you,  to  drop to a lower gear.

You are shifting into 2nd gear waaay too soon at 10 mph.
Try shifting 1st to 2nd at about 20mph,
2nd to 3rd at about 30 to 35 mph,
3rd to 4th around 45 mph,
and 4th to 5th around 50 to 55 mph.
The bike will be much happier at those speeds.

He's got a 4 speed 86 so those speeds may even need to be a bit higher.

Our minimal HP doesn't seem to have enough power to break or wear out a transmission.....the problem very likely is not going to require any work "inside" the engine cases.

I missed that part somehow. There used to be a mph/rpm chart for the 4 speed and 5 speed here but it was hosted on another site and the link was broken some time ago. Broken link = data lost forever. Sad

Thanks for all your comments, my issue is not the normal dogging when you force the engine aplying an upper gear, my problem is only on the 2nd gear and loose completelly power when I release the clutch alse there is a very bad mesh noise inside the engine, now Im trying to figure which internal mesh will be causing this problem, and I'm reviewing that I will need to remove completelly the engine to reach all the trans mesh dam :'(

Probably be easier to Try a higher speed before you grab wrenches.
