I assume he wants to fill in the holes to. Maybe you'll need one for the front too?

I stopped at the sheet metal shop on my way home and the guy said he can fab up a flat version of it for me easily. So I figured what the heck? Good excuse to meet a potentially helpful new resource. He's going to use 1/8" aluminum.

I'm probably gonna pick up a little 250 dual sport this fall and that will become my winter bike.
