Fork Brace Options
06/24/19 at 13:24:51
I know Super Brace makes one, any other manufactures out there?
If Super Brace is the only one who has the best price?
I researched but didn't find much in the subject. Could be I don't know how to research well.

There's another, but I don't know availability.

Mr. T-Kat retired.
I have one of his last braces.
The Superbrace is sleek and works great, but it's real fiddly getting it mounted and keeping it from getting into the paint.

Yep. Tkat retired. I think I got one of his last S40 braces a few years ago along with JOG. Too bad...he did really great work at a great price.

As sleek as the Super Brace is, I prefer the the look of the T-Kat. And it's a lot easier to mount. And they cost considerably less. I hope they stay in circulation and don't get junked out with old suzukis.
I know we have some machinists here.
Would any of you consider making some?

I had designed one but havent made it up yet. It was a design I was going to use for several bike models. I was trying to go for a classic look and it integrates with fork boots. Im not sure if it would be everyones cup a tea though.
It looks something like this...
(The tire in the model is a bit oversized, so its too close)

Fortunate to get a T-KAT before he retired. It's a noticeable improvement to me. first thing I put on. JMHO

That's a great design.
The boots fitting is killer.
