Loud front squeak on bumps (Read 36 times)

SavageMan99 Senior Member Offline SuzukiSavage.com Rocks! Posts: 391	Loud front squeak on bumps 06/15/19 at 06:33:29 Rebuilt my shocks. Very stiff now. I have a loud noise, sounds like the horn, it isn't tho. Any ideas? Would to much fluid do this?

If you roll forward and grab the brake can you hear it? If so, can you make it do it sitting still? Then, if you can hear it, get someone to put hands on the forks and see if both sides are doing it.

Which is exactly what happens if you accidentally put the wheel spacers in on the wrong side. (Ask me how I know.)

I have stiffer fork springs from RYCA, which are actually a HD spring. No noises from them, but the front end should move. Sounds like maybe you did put too much oil in them, but not sure that would be your noise.
