Yup. Blocked Garlands confirmation vote base on the "Biden Rule".

Used a lefties own words to justify his position then. Lefties didn't like it.

There was a whole backstory as to why he made those remarks - and yes, they were short-sighted and wrong. Oh, and the fact that there was never any confirmation held up because of that pretty much says it all.

Nah - I'd have to go with the GOP owning a lion's share of the hypocrisy today.

But hey - now that you all have actually set the precedent - no crying when a Democratic Congress holds up a nomination from a republican president (if a republican ever gets back into the white house that is...)

Well vers - the precedent has been set by the GOP so it would be stupid not to follow the same path.

But like I said, that's only if a republican becomes president again with a democratic Congress. And, since Congress and the presidency is likely to swing blue in 2020, I don't see that scenario in the near future.
