I have an 07 Suzuki s40 Boulevard ls650 - same as a Savage.  I took off the seat, tank and battery to add a louder horn, and put it all back together, but there is one hose left that I cannot figure out where it connects to.  The hose originates from under the seat straight down into the middle of the bike.  Not sure how I can attach more than one photo.

That is not a factory hose....or factory hose clamps.

Looks like a previous owner added something.

Is the other end connected to anything?

Well the parts diagram does show the hose clamps to look the same - so I guess that hose is supposed to connect to the fuel tank, up near the speedometer......the California tank with the vent tube.

I believe that connection in the middle is so you can leave the fuel tank end connected when you remove/install the tank - but you can disconnect the hose in the middle.

Yes! I just found this diagram also.  Very helpful!! Looks like maybe the line connects under the gas tank, though none of the tank diagrams, etc. show it.  I'm gonna yank the tank off and see what I see.  SUre appreciate your help!
