I disagree.

Look at the history of this board.

It's pretty much always been like this.

Then there's the occasional Eegore types who bring rationale and balance.

It's fine. Let them rant. I like laughing at the conservative posts.

I enjoy posting about trump's many lies. I like to see the reactions of his fervent worshipers.

But hey, that's just my opinion.

no it hasn't always been like this. people used to express and argue ideas...

now it's just name calling and baseless meanness for the heck of it. Conservatives call us fools, we call them idiots.... only we get in trouble for it... while they don't....

either let it be a free for all with no moderation and let us be as nasty as we want or moderate it right (which no one could possibly have time for) or just delete it, it's a stain

no one is showing any respect to the ideas or issues anyone brings up, immediately going to name calling and other such vileness

there is no rationale anymore, only balance of meanness

I dare say it was good nature, and ripe to really expand understandings.....

I wonder who changed that spirit?

I have gad a few contact me with why they left.

Remember, this is a means of income for MJ.
If for no other reason we need to respect his business venture.

If we can't, then its on us, not his unless he decides as such.

Don't give them such power, just stop thinking they will appreciate what you share.

What could possibly be more snowflakey than wanting to burn the place down because it pisses you off?
I walked away for a while, I didn't ask for the place to get wiped, not even with a cloth.
I lobbied for this place for a long time.
I'm not thrilled with what it's become, but but I know if it was not here, there would be posts in the cafe that would be inappropriate.
If you're not happy
Don't like what you see
Don't open the door.
That's how Adults do it.
My radio picks up stations that play stuff I don't want to hear.
I don't ask that those stations be taken off the air.
I don't listen to them.
