Sorry guys, I just accidentally deleted a post by Raydawg...
The jist was,... I guess it all depends on the definition of "IS"...
I was trying to quote it, and hit the wrong button.
No intended slight.

Anyway...
I had intended on saying it's what the definition of "WARRANT" is...
..and, they were surveilling members of the Trump campaign that were suspected of illegal cooperation with foreign enemies that were tampering with our election, not the Trump campaign itself.
That's not spying,.. it's catching spies...
AGAIN....... Its all depends on what the definition of IS - IS
The act of spying is trying to uncover information to be used for whatever reason its needed, and yes its legal, AND illegal, and should be decided accordingly.
In this case, was it legal....yes, as the warrants allowed such, that is not the question being asked.....
Were they granted on false information, lies, etc.....
That is a whole different issue, and to my understanding, what is going to be looked at now, as it should, because new information has come to light in testimony of Mueller's investigation.
Don't we ALL have a vested interest in finding out the truth?
