Indeed we do. But the real problem is that no one in Washington, not the Democrats, not the Republicans, not even Trump, have a fuc*ing clue how to solve this "problem" while at the same time pandering to their various ideological constituencies. Which they will not stop doing - ever.

This isn't getting fixed. Might as well get used to it and plan accordingly.

Saying Dems aren't in favor of open borders is like saying the Dems aren't in favor of high taxes. The positions they take have consequences. The socialistic society they want to force on everyone cost billions if not trillions which requires high taxes. Likewise, the fake outrage over the treatment of children at the border and their solutions (along with friendly judge rulings) results in what are from is practical point of view, open borders.

When you detain 92,000 trying to sneak across the border (and I thought I read 53,000 of these were in a "family" unit) .....you have a crisis.
