Hell, I could go through newspapers of the Jim Crow days and find an instance where a black man lashed out at a white man, but no one whould say "well, the violence happens on both sides. see this story?"
If all we had to do all day was look at every news outlet across the nation to prove this, we could.
Surely you don't think the style of intimidation of both sides is equal, do you?
so you admit, in history, the say 100 years between the end of the Civil War and the Civil Rights movement that conservatives (democrats or not, there used to be conservative democrats) were more violent,
and maybe that with those 100 years of legal racism, maybe perhaps some systemic rules and regulations and laws and traditions might have been passed that we mostly ignore until we are forced to change, so, how many rules, regulations, laws, and traditions might have a racist tinge to them over those 100+years?? think it might take more than 100 years to clean all those up?
