You speak truth Batman!  After riding to work this week in more rain than usual I've arrived at that same conclusion.  The stock front is going back on, aftet paint, and I'm ordering a p/n 5210 from trailerpartsstore.com to put on the rear.  Tired of washing the mud off the back of my neck! .  Know of any better recommendations for the rear fender?

I hadn't thought about that Lancer but it's a great idea.  There are a couple of shops not too far off that might let me dig through some of their old stuff lying around, I'll do some scrounging and see what i can turn up.  Wish i could find an old motorcycle graveyard in the local area.

Made a fender for the back and put the stock front back on.  Rain riding should be a little better now.  The TCBros fender worked out great Playhard, appreciate the tip.  They also had the front swingarm bracket for about $10 and that was a timesaver for sure.
