The conservatives on here thought that we (dems, non-cons) were nuts to think that trump should have been taken out of office via the 25th Amendment.

Seems we were spot on - and not alone in our thoughts.

McCabe: There were 25th Amendment discussions at DOJ to remove trump from office

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe says that after President trump fired his boss, FBI Director James Comey, there were discussions within the Department of Justice about invoking the 25th Amendment to remove trump from office.

Last year, the New York Times reported that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein discussed recruiting Cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment.

And this president is so far in over his head it's not funny. He should never have been given the opportunity to serve as president.

He fired Comey because of the investigation. He admitted as much.

Slo, my father-in-law (God rest his soul) was a Marine Corp. Lieutenant General. He always told us that there would be no revolution, no fight. But someday we would turn on our tv's and watch some Progressive representative from the Justice Department explaining that they had to take over the country for the good of the people. Well here we are listening to Americans that would support the overthrow of our system.

I think the words of Jesus ring so true, "Forgive them Lord they know not what they do."

MShiply, Really! when Nixon left office ,there was no vice president, Agnew was already gone . Did the Justice department "take over the government" then ? It would have been the perfect time ,but it didn't happen, and It wouldn't now.
Jesus ,forgave "them" because they didn't know what they were doing, the same can't be said of Trump and friends.

If you honestly believe that trump has committed no crimes, then you are being purposefully ignorant. Following The Emoluments Clause alone would be enough for impeachment.
