The bike sat all winter. It just needs to get the "cobwebs" out of it. You'll need a strong battery to get it fired up, but it will be fine.
Do not take it to that shop. Carbs don't get gummed up sitting for just a few months. Especially if you used stabilizer and ran the fuel low. But...
The battery would be low over the winter, you didn't run the engine long enough to top it off, and you ran it down further trying to start it again.
So i'm with batman and I'll say "it's probably the battery."

batman wrote on 02/05/19 at 16:33:16:I'd have the battery load tested or at least charge it. If the battery is down it can still crank the motor over ,but the voltage can drop if it goes below 10 volts there won't be any spark at the plug.
