Zook, like the pinstripes, great job! I also noticed in the pics it looks like you mounted your rear fender without having to weld up any brackets. Ive been pondering doing something similar since i dont have access to, or know how, to weld. Can you provide any tips on how you did it? Appears the swingarm was drilled in the back on both sides for mounting struts and in the front for the L brackets attached to the fender. Did you attach the L bracket to the swingarm with sheetmetal screws in the front?

I drilled and bolted the support pieces to the fender and the swing arm near the axle. At the front of the swing arm I made a bracket that bolted to the fender and bolted to the mounting that formerly held the built guard on th left side. On the right I made an L bracket that bolted to the fender and drilled a hole in the swing arm and used a large self taping sheet metal screw.
